The Des Moines International Airport is compliant with 49 CFR, Part 1542. This Regulation requires that all persons who conduct work at the
airport undergo a security background assessment and attend security training classes prior to their employment within the secure area of the
airport.

The Badging Office is open during normal business hours, (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Airport Security Training Class is provided every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. and every Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
